Having recently read Osita Nwanevu’s crucial Common Sense for our age, The Right of the People: Democracy and the Case for a New American Founding, and more to the point, having been alive and conscious in 2026, I think there’s no better time than the present to revisit this article from 2013. There’s a poll at the end that I’d appreciate your weighing in on.
